Instructables: Pi Pie For Your Pets

Check out my Instructable!
More info at: http://www.instructables.com/id/Pi-Pie-For-Your-Pets/

This is how to make a geeky pie to celebrate Pi day with your pets (cats & dogs).  It includes my favorite and most awesome recipes and how to make your own recipes!  Who better to make a pie for then your pet best friend(s)!  They will appreciate it more and love you the whole time you are baking!  Here is the process I use to make them.  These are really fun to make because my pet best friends have always been willing to eat the end results, whither burnt, ugly or unflavorful.  They also love to "help" as taste testers and washing the dishes!  Cannot say the same about my human best friends!

Cat and dog treats!

These pies only keep for a few days in the fridge, can freeze them for a few months.  Defrost before giving to your pet.

Warning: leaving pies unattended may end up with no pies but very happy and full pets!

More Pie Please!
Only give one pie a day to cats and small dogs, they are quite big for them.  The recipes given are a once in a while treat not a balanced self contained diet.

Instructables: Danbo End table

Danbo End Table

Instructables link: http://www.instructables.com/id/Danbo-End-table/

Danbo is a cardboard robot from yotsuba (japanese manga) and has become an internet picture sensation.  Search Danbo and lots of pictures will come up with the Danbo toys in them.  I wanted an end table of Danbo so I took the paper mini and redesigned it to be a 23" end table.

Here are some links for cute photos of Danbo toys:

Here is the small Danbo in the pictures made from paper:

Read the Manga online where Danbo is introduced:

In the Manga Danbo runs on money so I programed an Arduino to turn on the LEDs for the eyes and mouth when money is inserted in the chest of the robot.
